Colorwork Week Contest

So, I figured it being colorwork week and all I’d do a little contest. Up for grabs are two of my new Colorwork Coffee Sleeves booklets and a handful of mini-skeins of worsted weight yarn (the yarn in the picture is not necessarily representative of what you’ll get) to get you started. Also, the winners of those two kits as well as two other winners will win PDF copies of my Memento Mori Mittens pattern and my Regal Mittens pattern. That’s four winners!!

So to enter, leave a comment on this blog letting me know what your favorite color combination is. Make sure I have a way to contact you (email or ravelry id). For a second entry tweet about this contest and then leave me another comment with a link to your tweet or twitter. If you need some help, you can copy and paste something like “Check out ohdessaknits.com for an awesome colorwork kit+pattern contest”

    I always need more coffee sleeves, and I’ve been wanting to try colorwork forever! My favorite color combination is a bright color changing yarn combined with black. I marvel that those every time!

    Those Momento Mori mittens look so crazy! Love it love it love it! Anyway… my favourite colour combo… I’m so ADD with colours… It’s funny, I think the sky blue/cream/coral/chocolate combo that you have going here as the background is one of my favourite (or just the blue and brown or pink and brown). I was trying to think of what my favourite was and it changes so much, and then I fixated on your layout :P Super pretty!

    So many pretty color combos listed by the others!

    I tend to go for purples/greens or burgundy and black in my own clothes. The colors on the Leaves and Petals and the Memento Mori mittens are beautiful.

    I think I need to find a little boy to make the monster hat for, it’s too cute. :)

    I love your Memento Mori pattern, those mittens are so brilliant!
    I like purple and grey or red and grey, but the combination with orange on the bottom left coffee sleeve is surprisingly attractive to me. I think I need to branch out.
