Giveaway Day and Three New Patterns Up

So today is Giveaway day! I’ve also just finished 3 new patterns. So what am I going to do? Give them away!

The first pattern is actually two patterns in one! I overhauled my first design, Leaves and Petals and came up with Flowers and Hearts, which is the original pattern, but overhauled, with an additional pattern, Hearts and Dots. These patterns were made mostly for my love of Noro Kureyon. They are easy colorwork pattern with no long floats.

The next pattern is Spectrum, which comes in two sizes and with two different charts. The first chart follows the rainbow color progression on the navy mitten, and I give the yarn colors used. The second chart gives no color progression so you can either color in whatever colors you choose or leave them blank if you are using a yarn that changes color itself, such as the aformentioned Kureyon (which leaves you with way less ends to weave in).

The last pattern is Swallows. I finally got my act together and got this one finished. They’re inspired by tattoo swallows and have silhouette swallows on the palm. These mittens are great for showing off gorgeous skeins of sock yarn; almost any fingering weight sock yarn should work.

I am also going to throw in my favorite pattern, the Little Monster Hat! Unlike most rectangle ear hats, this one uses short rows to make extra pointy and cute ears. It’s sized all the way from baby to adult! And it’s knit in a bulky yarn for a super quick knit.
